Each year, Clarivate Analytics, a company that compiles and analyses scientific and academic research data from around the world, publishes a list of researchers who have demonstrated significant international influence through the number of highly cited publications they produce in one or more of the 21 disciplines observed. Of the 6,216 researchers named Highly Cited Researchers in 2019, six are from Lorraine. The University of Lorraine and its partner institutions (Inserm, INRA, CHRU) are delighted to see the synergy of a site-wide policy lead to this prestigious result. The researchers involved agreed to answer our questions to understand what makes this highly cited research so special.
